ToolHound™ Selects Hand Held Products™ Dolphin 9500s
Durable Dolphin 9500 Series Mobile Computers used to track tools in industrial work environments
Skaneateles Falls, N.Y. – September 6, 2006 – Hand Held Products, a leader in image-based mobile data collection solutions, announced today that their Dolphin 9500 Series mobile computer has been selected as the scanner of choice for use with the ToolHound™ product line.
ToolHound is a powerful management system that puts construction, maintenance and repair organizations in control of their tools and equipment. At the core of the ToolHound system is a simple, but reliable issue and return process that incorporates industrial strength barcodes and Dolphin 9500 Series mobile computers.
Tools, equipment, and even parts and consumables are signed out to individual employees on specific jobs and a complete record of each transaction is wirelessly transferred from the Dolphin 9500 mobile computer to the ToolHound software.
