Technical Support Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our customer service team. This individual will provide technical telephone support, analyze customer issues and implement timely and appropriate corrective actions. Regular travel to customer sites in Canada, the United States and elsewhere for system installation and customer training will be required. There may also be a need to provide on-call support outside of normal working hours. The individual will assist with Quality Assurance by testing products and reporting problems.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a technical support or field service role. They will possess excellent problem resolution, written and oral communication skills with first-rate PC knowledge; particularly supporting Windows based software applications. Knowledge of inventory control, bar codes, RFID, 802.11 wireless communications, Microsoft Windows, IIS, MS SQL Server and Windows Mobile is a definite asset. This individual must be highly self-motivated, able to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment and present a professional image to ToolHound customers.
This successful candidate will operate out of our St. Albert office.
